  • A Whirling Square: The space in the center is reserved for you

Emerald Room | Emerald Editions was founded in 2023 with the legacy of my grandmother, the artist Teruko Yokoi, as its starting point. What began as a personal responsibility to honor her work has grown into a vision for a new kind of gallery that blends art, design, storytelling, and cultural dialogue into a single space. This platform exists to immerse viewers in the worlds of the artists we present, to give context to their histories, and to create meaningful ways for collectors and audiences alike to engage with their work. Our program includes both primary and secondary market sales, with a dedicated focus on prints, editions, and multiples that make collecting accessible without losing sight of scholarship and quality.

Like the emerald itself, treasured for its beauty yet defined by its inclusions and delicate fractures, Emerald Room embraces the idea that uniqueness and imperfection create depth and value. Just as each emerald carries a one-of-a-kind fingerprint, the gallery seeks to curate artists and collaborations whose voices are singular and enduring. We look to create value for artists, designers, and collectors by placing their work in environments and contexts that honor their individuality and amplify their resonance. With plans to open a physical space in Seattle while continuing to expand digitally, Emerald Room | Emerald Editions will stage projects that go beyond four white walls. At its heart, the gallery is a place for discovery, where fragile beauty and timeless vision come together to form something both rare and unforgettable.
